Internet Connectivity is now the basic need of every geek in todays fast growing tech freaky world.

Many a times it is not possible to carry our internet every where we go or say sometimes there is some network problem with our mobile internet or any other internet we use everywhere on the go.

Connectify is a small software which converts you Netbooks Wi-Fi card into a Wi-Fi Access Point, making it searchable in your Wi-Fi Range to others and connecting to you. It shares the internet on your netbook in your surrounding wi-fi area. You can use this shared internet with any of your other devices like Laptop, Mobile via Wi-Fi.

How to Use Connectify to make Netbook Wi-Fi Hotspot :

Step 1 :

Download and install Connectify in your PC.

Step 2 :

Make sure that you Netbook’s Wi-Fi is turned on.

Step 3 :

Start the Easy Setup Wizard inside Connectify.

Step 4 :

You can skip the welcome screen by clicking next, now it will ask you to choose your Wi-Fi Device, don’t change it, let is be default and continue configuring.

Step 5 :

Now it will ask for a  Network Name. Fill the Name i.e the name of your Wi-Fi Access Point, if anyone searches then they can see this name in their Wi-Fi Device to connect to you. Its your SSID. Fill in whatever you like to, say ‘No Networks Available’ etc.

Step 6 :

Next will ask you to choose your Hotspot Mode. Choose Access Point as the default mode there.

Step 7 :

It will be asking you for a password. Insert a password which on sharing with other will let them connect you to your netbooks wi-fi hotspot.

Step 8 :

In the Shared Connection Area, Choose the connection which you by default use on your netbook to get online or the one you are using at that instance.

Step 9 :

After Hitting Next, your configuration is all over and now you can Start your Netbooks Wi-Fi Hotspot by Selecting “Start Hotspot after Closing Wizard” and clicking finish.

Step 10 :

Enjoy your Wi-Fi  Access Point and share your Netbooks Internet anywhere by your Netbooks Wi-Fi Hotspot. If anything works wrong, check weather your Wi-Fi Device is turned on or else try configuring the Wizard again.
